Offshore & Subsea
Moorings, pipelines, risers, floating structures
We provide a range of numerical modeling and analysis services for the offshore oil and gas and subsea industries. Typical applications include: mooring analysis, installation analysis, riser and pipeline assessment, tow out studies and seakeeping.
Our softwares ShipMo3D and ProteusDS has been developed and customized to meet a wide range of applications, and is an essential asset in challenging numerical modeling consulting contracts we complete for the offshore and subsea industries.
- Benefits
Dynamic Systems Analysis offshore engineering services and software provides an integrated system to undertake complex motions and response analysis.
Model creation can be performed through primitive geometry objects within ProteusDS or through custom mesh objects.
External meshes are imported into ProteusDS using the CustomMeshFeature. The feature properties will allow you to reference the OBJ file name which will import the feature into the solver. The feature also allows you to set the hydrodynamic properties for the mesh and choose which forms of loading you wish to have applied to the mesh in the simulation.
DSA has developed easy-to-use tools for hydrodynamic data import from BEM software such as ShipMo3D, WAMIT, and NEMOH that enable simulation of wave radiation, diffraction and drift in ProteusDS.This partnership allows users to take into gain insight into the full system dynamics account the water flow around floating and submerged structures, either stiff or flexible.
