Dynamic Systems Analysis has provided a range of services to marine renewable energy projects. We have worked with wave and tidal energy developers to create numerical models in ProteusDS since 2006. To date, we have advised our clients on how environmental conditions, operations, installation methods, and numerous other factors will affect their platforms, wave energy devices, mooring systems and operations.
A core benefit of working with DSA in the nascent tidal and wave industries is that DSA’s core modelling and prediction software ProteusDS can be modified to meet the needs of the client. In addition, at the conclusion of the project, our client can run their own simulations on a supported software platform using models validated by DSA, which reduces the client’s consultancy fees.
